beautiful day to celebrate life and what lies ahead.
i just noticed that almost all of our wedding suppliers last year are getting married 0r were already married this year (like our photographer JJ Lucas, and also our make-up artist Chin Viyar) This time, it’s our coordinator, Tr. Portia Mantuano or Teacher Eps, as we call her.
after I got home from work, I took a rest because I knew this would be a long day for me. I woke up around 12.30pm and was still sleepy. I wanted to message tr. Eps if it was ok to be late at her party. fortunately, I didn’t have the time to send her a message or txt because we were busy preparing things to bring to the party
beautiful and elegant place in South Forbes at Bali Mansion
i love the columns there because of the shadows and the lines– a perfect place to have a E-session
what is a celebration without sweets. these are ordinary cupcakes bought from the grocery with icing, candy sprinkles and lots of love as shown in their messages
most of the time, life is represented by heart.
sometimes life can be messy and dirty but always keep in mind that when life becomes odd and luck is not on your side,
you always have your friends who will comfort you
we never back fight a friend.. we simply love them back
unexpected guests may come in the future, just welcome them and be yourself.
good or bad, there’s a lesson in life that you could always learn from them
This was the funniest part of the afternoon. Tr. mariel one of the teachers in PLICA told everyone that tr. portia and sir ron will arrive in a few minutes. They all panicked because they didn’t know how to surprise them. They were all shouting and running around and the last thing they thought about was to hide under the table.
then out they came… “SURPRISE”
a mini veil was worn by tr. Portia to signify that weeks from now she is getting married.
the rest 0f the afternoon was spent for games and swimming
congrats to Sir Ron and Tr. Portia

i miss serving in a ministry!!!

there are a lot of times that i miss serving a religious community
it is not that i’m not welcome with my previous community which is Single For Christ
but me and my wife have to take our service to the next level. of course in CFC already
Last February 6, our sector asked our band to play for the worship for provincial leaders assembly
and i must say that aside from serving our God, i really miss playing in a band (even it is only a K-hon, i usually play drums)
after that i try to worship God and reminisce the old days by taking pictures and offer to God almighty.
the topic that event is about love because it’s February and it is love month. SFC called it LOVE FORUM

here is my SFC chapter.. i saw them attempting to make a jump shot.. i try to take a picture of them.. i hope this is a success one!!
after the session, we take the afternoon to shoot for a new profile picture in Facebook
but it turns out to be a band picture, because we just think that we dont have a picture as a band
unfortunately, we’re having struggle in capturing moments because we dont have tripod and no one to operate our cameras
so we just decided to put it on the ground a put it to timer mode.
just a nice framing and wonderful bandmates
and here’s the final outcome of our craziness that day!!
after that day, i realized that it doesn’t matter if you are serving in a community or not.
all you need is a faith and constant communication with God.
and good thing that my set of friends came from a community that has only one belief in terms of serving God.

at the lobby of bellevue
husband and wife plus baby
learnings in this new experience
it is hard if you dont have any assistant with you but the good thing is you are flexible to make good shoots
so hard to make a pregnant woman to pose but good thing model is willing to make some sacrifices for future view of her son
lastly, use your talent not only for the reward that will be given to you.. use it to express the beauty of life that the lord entrust to us!!

in life
for the past month, i have a corporate job.
a job that is easy to get but hard to sustain. i set aside my passion to provide food on the table and buy our needs and wants
but there is a big difference in doing your job while having fun
and doing your job just to have money..
one morning, i have a chance to have a relaxing day with my family. we went to tagaytay to enjoy the cold breeze of the wind.
have the chance to reflect on god’s word while in the top of the people’s park in the sky
1 Corinthians 10:31
Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.
im working with the company for only two months and i try to offer every second of my work hours to god and my family but still fail
everytime i log-off to my station, i’m pissed off with my shift..
that is why lord said to me that money is not everything.. i want you to live in peace.. and do what you want and spread my word
now, im posting this picture just to remind readers of this site that god make a perfect world
and we have to appreciate it even we dont have money to spend it
as the bible says:
Genesis 2:15
The LORD God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it.
make your world be more meaningful this year.. lets put color in every work we do and lets make an impact to each and everyone of us
money is everything but money can’t buy happiness
passion in doing something can create better things

i really miss serving in a community like Singles for Christ
when i got married last march 2010, i said to myself that there are many things that i will miss
1. a very late night bonding with my homeboys/band-mates/kwentuhan buddies
(bonding time start around 7pm and ends on 3am)
2. travelling every weekend in different places for a mission.
3. eating very late in a place where they serve beef mami and goto
there are lot more but i truly miss is
4. serving the lord with all my heart and time.
YES, when i say time i mean hours, minutes, seconds, milliseconds….
because before i can give all my time to my god without worrying about home or our things
but know, there are person involve and also need not only my time but also love.
then one of my reflection nights i ask god,
“bakit gaano? parang inalis mo lahat ng gusto ko?”
and then i start to find an answer to my question and end up with this verse
“this world is fading away, along with everything it craves. but if you do the will of God, you will live forever” 1 John 2:17 (NLT)
God wants me to live a life not to process a human cycle. he wants me to be different among others
because in the end of the story, i will be a great inspiration to other who is afraid to face a god plan reality
we are all design in god’s greatness. we just have to find it and know it how. and all answer is in the bible
for now, i enjoy my life with my very own family. as my god always there to look for us.
and sometimes he peeks on his window clouds wondering how we are
from god above we receive a free love that he offers to each and everyone
but sometimes we can’t offer our love without a price.
when i was a mission volunteer, a brother ask me a series of question
1. will you still love god even you don’t have money
2. will you still serve god even everyone around you hates you
3. will you still have faith in god even he take away the life of your love ones
4. will you still love god even you experience all the hardship in life
sometimes, our love is conditional and has a price.
sometimes all of our action has a value
the greater the value the higher we do
so i ask you, what is the value of a person give his life for you

not the best birthday i ever had.. BUT IM SO BLESSED WITH THE PEOPLE SURROUNDS ME..
sometimes i forgot the meaning of birthdays.. for me, having new gadgets, exciting day, delicious food, new stuffs and a fun day is the meaning of birthday.. but to day is different…
when i shift my career as a life photographer, i understand the meaning of birthday in more deeper way. Birthdays are celebrate because you have to be more thankful that god experience you another chapter in your life. as i capture image from a certain event i really thank god that he share this experience with me.
im just happy because i celebrate my birthday with my family… here are some pictures hope you like it!!

maybe that is the reason why im close with everyone with good soul….

christmas is just around the corner.. i can smell it already
this little dude complete my day.. we just laugh all night just saying the word “congratulation”
to end my celebration.. me and my wife got a whole body thai massage for just 300 pesos…
well, i have my wishlist like new Dslr camera body, few lens, and iPod touch. but for now just want to end my day with my loving family…
oh i forgot.. thanks for the people who greet me in my facebook account. i got a total of 300++ message and pm. that how god connect us in his way!!
